Open Access Funding
Upon acceptance of an article for publication in Geochemical Perspectives Letters, authors are invited to make an Open Access contribution of 1250 euros, which will be used to support publication costs. As the journal is community-run and is entirely non-profit, these contributions make a significant difference. The Open Access contribution is entirely voluntary and are there are currently no mandatory article processing fees in place. Nevertheless, where an author’s funding body or institution has made funds available for Open Access publication, we strongly encourage authors to make use of them.
To help authors find out whether funds may be available to them, we are in the process of compiling a list of bodies and institutions that we are aware have funding available for Open Access publication. This list is far from complete, so if your institution or funding body is not on this list, please do verify whether any funds are available to you. If you know of any institution or body that should be included in the list, please do contact us at office@geochemicalperspectives.org to let us know.
